Our Mission Statement

We, St. Mary's Parish, are a people responding to Christ's call to conversion, new life and discipleship with a nurturing Community.

We celebrate this new life in Scripture and the Sacraments of the Roman Catholic tradition.

Our Celebration impels and transforms us to be Spirit filled individuals who can reach out and minister to all people challenging and enabling them to build God's Kingdom of justice and holiness.

Care  For  Creation

Always go real!  A fake tree is a petroleum based product and it is not biodegradable.

This Christmas, buy strings of LED lights, which look the same as traditional incandescent bulbs, last longer and use 80 to 90 percent less energy.  They are also safer since they barely warm up.

Reminder

The first Sunday of each month is “FISH” Sunday. Please bring non-perishable food items, toilet paper, soap, paper towels or diapers. These will be given to FISH, an emergency help organization in Albany and distributed in food boxes for the needy.

Office Closed

Our parish office will close at 4 PM on Dec. 21 and will re-open at 8 AM on January 2. If you need to contact a staff member, you are welcome to leave a message on their voice mail, as we will be checking messages. Also, remember if you have an emergency such as the need for an anointing or a funeral, please call 990-5552. Thank you!

Year End Gifts

Each year, several of you help the parish by making a special Christmas gift or a year end gift. We certainly appreciate and need that!

Remember, if you want to make a gift to be counted in the 2007 tax year, we must receive it by Dec. 31, 2007 (or at least postmarked by then).

Our school and Soup Kitchen also appreciate and need your special gifts at this time of the year.

God Bless!
