Our parish library is open on Sunday mornings in between the two Masses. It is on the 2nd floor of the church building. Use the stairway near the playground / parking lot or take the elevator. We have a wonderful selection of books for both children and adults.

Newspapers!! Have you got newspapers stacking up in your garage? Are your closets overflowing with them? Call the Knights of Columbus. They’ll clean up your problem. The Knights are still collecting newspapers. Drop them off at the back of the old apartment building or contact either Jack Gall @ 926-4699 or Bernie Covino @ 926-9614 for assistance in getting rid of all that old news.

Princess House Party hosted by Catholic Daughters of America, Monday night, November 6th at 6:30pm. All women of the parish are welcome to come to the Gathering Space for a great time, refreshments and a chance to shop for Christmas. St. Mary’s School Highlights Middle School Electives Elective classes have been incorporated into the middle grades curriculum. Electives are offered twice a week. This Fall students alternate between a structures class taught by Mr. Curtin and an art history program taught St. Mary's School promotes each child's spiritual, academic, and character development as a Catholic Christian in the image of Jesus Christ
Global Warming The Archdiocese of Portland is sponsoring a workshop on global warming at St. Mary parish in Corvallis from 9am to noon on Saturday November 18th. There is no charge for the workshop but you are encouraged to register by calling 503-221-1054 or on-line jkam@emoregon.org. Speakers will be Russ Butkus, a theologian at the University of Portland, and Steve Kolmes, a UP environmental biologist. Infant Baptism Parents wishing to have their children (infant through kindergarten) baptized must attend a baptism preparation class. The next class will be Saturday afternoon, Nov. 18 from 1:30 to 4:30 PM in the Gathering Space. The cost for the class is $10.00 per family. Parents, god parents, grand parents are all invited (at least one parent must attend). Parents are asked to pre-register for the class by calling the office at (926-1449 ext 301) or emailing: stmarys_albany@comcast.net.
St. Joseph Parish / St. barbara cemetery in Salem Is seeking a benefited part-time, possibly full-time youth minister working with out Mid-High and High School Youth. Persons applying should be energetic, faith-filled and capable of working in a team situation. Desired qualifications are: experience in youth ministry, organizational and communications skills.
