Our Mission Statement

We, St. Mary's Parish, are a people responding to Christ's call to conversion, new life and discipleship with a nurturing Community.

We celebrate this new life in Scripture and the Sacraments of the Roman Catholic tradition.

Our Celebration impels and transforms us to be Spirit filled individuals who can reach out and minister to all people challenging and enabling them to build God's Kingdom of justice and holiness.

Eucharistic Adoration

Jesus stays with us day and night in the blessed sacrament, calling out to each one of us:  "Come to me all of you who are weary and find life burdensome and I will refresh you".  Jesus stays with us in the blessed sacrament to refresh us in mind, heart and spirit by lavishing on us those graces that encourage us, console us, strengthen us, guide us and inspire us to place all of our trust in HIS SACRED HEART, so that the power of HIS love may cast out every fear, doubt, worry and anxiety.

"THE EUCHARIST is a point where God and the soul meet-God will all HIS graces, the soul with all its wants"

Join us each Friday for Eucharistic Adoration from noon to 8p.m. in the chapel.  Contact Jackie @ 917-0458 or Caroline @ 924-9952 evenings or just stop by.  Everyone is welcome.

Pray one!  Knit one!

Summer is quickly rushing by us and the fall weather will be upon us soon. The Prayer Shawl Ministry continues to keep busy throughout the summer months weaving yarn around needles to create soft cuddly creations of hope and comfort in the form of shawls. The parish and community members continue their generous support of St. Mary's Prayer Shawl Ministry. We have received generous donations of both yarn and funds to continue this work. Our deep felt thanks reaches out to all of you. With your support these lovely shawls continue spreading the spirit of this joyous ministry to anyone in need where ever they may be or whatever their need. If you know of someone that you would like to receive a shawl, please know that you may choose a shawl for that certain individual at any time by contacting the church office and arrange to select a shawl from the array of colors and lengths available. The next meeting for the Prayer Shawl Ministry will be August 11 at 9:00a .m. to 11:00a.m. in the basement of the parish house. Anyone wishing to learn more about this ministry is welcome to join us! We would not be able to continue this work without the many willing hands and hearts that make these shawl possible. Come and join us for an incredible journey of unbelievable joy! We have many stories to share about the giving of shawls and the little miracles they wrapped around the shoulders of someone waiting for the comfort of Jesus to hold them close. For more information you may call either Carol Hawke at 926-2106 or Pat Jacobson at 928-2327.
