Sessions will continue in the fall – after Labor Day. Thoughts On Prayer Prayer to St. Joseph over 1900 years oldO St. Joseph whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the Throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires. O St. Joseph do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, Our Lord; so that having engaged here below your Heavenly power I may offer my Thanksgiving and Homage to the most Loving of Fathers. O St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press him in my name and kiss His fine Head for me, and ask Him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls, pray for us. Amen This prayer was found in the fiftieth year of Our Lord Jesus Christ. In 1500's it was sent by the Pope to Emperor Charles when he was going into battle.
Eucharistic Adoration The next scheduled Friday is July 27, from noon – 8:00 PM. A sign-up sheet is at the chapel door for your convenience. Please call Caroline @ 924-9952 or 926-5637 if you can spend an hour in Chapel with Jesus.

St. Mary’s Book Group St. Mary’s Book Group meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. rotating among participant’s homes. In June the group discussed Padre Pio and America by Frank Rega. This book is a biography of Saint Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, Italy. Padre Pio is a modern day saint born in 1887, ordained as a Franciscan priest in 1910 and died in 1968. He bore the stigmata from 1918 until shortly before his death. He lived a holy and devoted life touching the lives of his many spiritual children in amazing ways…and continues to do so! In July we will be discussing Mr. Blue by Myles Connolly. If you would like to learn more about the St. Mary’s Book Group or would like to join us, please call Elaine Young at 541-619-6106 or email at peyoung2@comcast.net.
