Our Mission Statement

We, St. Mary's Parish, are a people responding to Christ's call to conversion, new life and discipleship with a nurturing Community.

We celebrate this new life in Scripture and the Sacraments of the Roman Catholic tradition.

Our Celebration impels and transforms us to be Spirit filled individuals who can reach out and minister to all people challenging and enabling them to build God's Kingdom of justice and holiness.

St. Mary’s School News

Our school has been blessed for the past four years to have a group of enlightened, intelligent and spirit-filled young people participate in leadership. Because they were the “pioneers” of our middle grades program, these students have been our leaders since they were in fifth grade. They have worked closely with their teachers and administration to help develop and form ideas which eventually became part of our program. We are very proud of all the gifts and talents they have generously shared with all of us. Their journey here at St. Mary’s is coming to its end and we will celebrate with a special Graduation Mass. The Graduation Mass is a time of celebrating, honoring and thanking God for the gifts of these young people to our school. The eighth grade class extends a personal invitation to every parishioner to attend their Graduation Mass. The Mass will take place on June 8 at 7:00 p.m. in the Church followed by a reception in the Gathering Space.

Parents

Our parish nursery is available during the 11 AM Mass for your children who are in kindergarten or younger. Several of you have mentioned that you would like to see something more happening than simply “babysitting”. We are trying some Bible stories and other activities this summer with the children in the nursery. Also, we will soon begin Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the 11 AM Mass each week. This is for children who are pre-K through 2nd grade. We definitely will need some help with this – please call Kathy at 926-1449 ext 303 to volunteer.
