Our Mission Statement

We, St. Mary's Parish, are a people responding to Christ's call to conversion, new life and discipleship with a nurturing Community.

We celebrate this new life in Scripture and the Sacraments of the Roman Catholic tradition.

Our Celebration impels and transforms us to be Spirit filled individuals who can reach out and minister to all people challenging and enabling them to build God's Kingdom of justice and holiness.

Retrouvaille -- A Lifeline for Hurting Marriages

Is your marriage or that of a relative or friend heading for divorce? Do you know how to save that marriage? Or do you feel helpless?

Retrouvaille is a Catholic program designed to help troubled marriages regain their health. Retrouvaille is similar to Marriage Encounter, but with one important difference. The leaders are couples whose own marriages once nearly failed. They inspire couples in hurting marriages to try new ways to love each other. The next Retrouvaille weekend is June 6-8, 2008 at Mt. Angel Retreat House, Mt. Angel, Oregon. For information, call 503-285-2342 or visit www.helpourmarriage.org. Couples of all faiths are

Welcome and no one is turned away due to financial difficulties.

The Holy Trinity/Trinity Sunday

Week of May 18, 2008

Question of the Week
Theme: The mystery of the Trinity - Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

Question for Children: When people love each other, how do they treat each other?

Question for Youth: The Trinity is celebrated today. How would you describe your relationship with God the Father? With Jesus? With the Spirit?

Question for Adults: If you were to encourage the members of your own parish to live as a "community of love," which is how we define the Trinity, how would you advise them to live? Use St. Paul’s list of exhortations as your starting point.
