Eucharistic Adoration Receiving the Eucharist means adoring Him who we receive. Only in this way do we become one with Him and are given, as it were, a foretaste of the beauty of the heavenly liturgy. The act of adoration outside Mass prolongs and intensifies all that takes place during the liturgical celebration itself. Indeed, only in adoration can a profound and genuine reception mature. It is precisely this personal encounter with the Lord that then strengthens the social mission contained in the Eucharist, which seeks to break down not only the walls that separate the Lord and ourselves, but also and especially the walls that separate us from one another. Contact Jackie @ 917-0458 or Caroline @ 924-9952 evenings or just stop by. Everyone is welcome. "Relay for Life" It's that time again to sign up to support our St. Mary's Relay for Life team. I will be available after each Mass to receive donations and to sign up walkers. We also will have luminaries available again to remember or honor your loved one. This will be our third year participating in this worthwhile fundraiser. This year's Relay for Life will be taking part on June 27 and 28 at West Albany High School. Come and join us while we walk for a cure. If you have any questions or any ideas on how to decorate our "campsite" feel free to give me a call: 926-3331 (home) or 760-1620 (cell). Thank you for your help and support! Kathie Caldwell-Sullivan.

Do you know how to save that marriage? Or do you feel helpless? Retrouvaille is a Catholic program designed to help troubled marriages regain their health. Retrouvaille is similar to Marriage Encounter, but with one important difference. The leaders are couples whose own marriages once nearly failed. They inspire couples in hurting marriages to try new ways to love each other. The next Retrouvaille weekend is June 6-8, 2008 at Mt. Angel Retreat House, Mt. Angel, Oregon. For information, call 503-285-2342 or visit www.helpourmarriage.org. Couples of all faiths are welcome and no one is turned away due to financial difficulties.
