Our Mission Statement

We, St. Mary's Parish, are a people responding to Christ's call to conversion, new life and discipleship with a nurturing Community.

We celebrate this new life in Scripture and the Sacraments of the Roman Catholic tradition.

Our Celebration impels and transforms us to be Spirit filled individuals who can reach out and minister to all people challenging and enabling them to build God's Kingdom of justice and holiness.

Eucharistic Adoration

"I cannot thank God enough for the grace He has given you in making you a perfect victim of Jesus Christ, and adorer of the Blessed Sacrament. What a privilege for your soul to do here below what the Angels and Saints are doing in heaven so sweetly and gloriously although you have not their understanding nor their light of glory but only the feeble light of faith.  Faithful adorers give so much glory to God here on earth but they are so few, for even the very spiritual want to taste and see otherwise they loose interest and slacken off' but faith alone suffices'."  From a letter by St. Louis arydeMontfort Priest, Missionary,Founder; to his sister Louise,a Benedictine Sister of the Blessed Sacraments

Adorations Fridays from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Prayer Shawl Ministery

The next meeting for the Prayer Shawl Ministry is Monday, April 28 at 9:00a.m. in the basement of the parish house.  We have been busy organizing yarns and looking for new ways to serve our parish and community families with our love for this ministry.  If you would like to join in the joy of this ministry, please come and see what we are all about.  We have lots of patterns, needles and yarn to get you started on this wonderful journey into the joy of knitting or crocheting.  You need not have any prior experience in either of these skills, as there is someone to give you "one-to-one hands" on instructions.  We always say 'one is never too old to learn'.  Please come and join us for some great friendship experiences.  For more information contact Carol Hawke at 926-2106 or Pat Jacobson at 928-2327.

It's that time again to sign up to support our St. Mary's Relay for Life team.  I will be available after each Mass for the next couple of weeks to receive donations and to sign up walkers.  We also will have luminaries available again to remember or honor your loved one.  This will be our third year participating in this worthwhile fundraiser.  This year's Relay for Life will be taking part on June 27 and 28 at West Albany High School.  Come and join us while we walk for a cure.  If you have any questions or any ideas on how to decorate our "campsite" feel free to give me a call:  926-3331 (home) or 760-1620 (cell).  If

I'm not available please leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.  Thank you for your help and support! Kathie Caldwell-Sullivan
